Rispondly answers the phone when the owner cannot. It speaks Italian, says in the first sentence that it is a virtual assistant, asks what is needed, takes the appointment and sends it to the owner on WhatsApp. The business keeps its own number: calls reach the assistant only when the owner decides they should.
It is made for hairdressers, restaurants, studios and gyms, for people who work with their hands busy and cannot leave a client to pick up the phone. Rispondly is based in Florence, sold in Italy, with an Italian interface. Today it is a small project, run by one person.
The software is written by me, Leanid Herasimau, a backend engineer, fifteen years in Italy, before this on airport systems and enterprise platforms. Support messages are answered by me. If something breaks, the person who fixes it is the one who wrote it.
